Hedge Trackers’ Helen Kane to Chair Derivatives Accounting Conference 2015

Based in NYC in November, conference will focus on “Current Industry Trends & Strategies for Hedge Accounting and Financial Instruments”

Hedge Trackers, a premier provider of hedge program management solutions for foreign currency, interest rate and commodity risk, has announced that Helen Kane, founder and president, is serving as chairperson to the Center for Professional Education’s Derivatives Accounting Conference 2015.

Slated to take place in New York City from November 12 – 13, the conference will be themed, “Current Industry Trends & Strategies for Hedge Accounting and Financial Instruments.”

The two-day conference will inform accounting and financial professionals about the new direction the FASB is taking with hedge accounting and will explore how the proposed changes will impact existing hedge programs and likely invite increased application of the standard. The forum will also cover recent updates to derivative accounting and elements of the guidance that are not changing.
