We will cover both Balance Sheet (re-measurement) and Cash Flow exposure profiles including when to hedge them and why timing differences matter for different profiles.

Course Description:

Participants will learn:

• How foreign currency accounting rate setting methodologies can change exposure profiles and balance sheet hedging techniques
• Why one should consider both economic and the accounting risk when hedging exposures
• How Cash Flow exposures can differ greatly depending on the business circumstance as well as the hedge objective(s).
• How to think about hedging different types of exposures

After completing this course, participants will be able to better understand certain types of currency risk and how to hedge them more effectively given different circumstances.
